Phillip James Roselle

Longtime New York area stage and studio guitarist, Phil Roselle, started his career at an early age as the guitarist in the house band at the original Lone Star Cafe on Fifth Avenue in NYC with the band RD1. Alongside Phil in the band, was Phil's longtime friend, Jonathan Yudkin. Together, the band played with some of the top recording artists of all time, including Sam & Dave, Johnny Winter, Albert Collins, Willie Nelson, Johnny Paycheck, and Kinky Friedman. Phil has also played with another legendary house band NYC. Again, Phil teamed up with lifelong friends, Steve Pasch (frontman of Three Crosses) Anthony Krizan (who later was the guitarist in Spin Doctors). NYC, the band, played with such acts as Meatloaf and Pearl Jam, and were a main stay at Manhattan clubs, such as The Ritz, CBGBs, and Kenny's Castaways. After years of coaxing from his friend, Jonathan Yudkin (one of the most recorded multi-string players in Nashville for over the last 25 years playing on records by Big & Rich, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, and Carrie Underwood), Phil moved to Nashville in January 2007. Since then, Phil has been working on numerous recording and live projects. In 2008 Phil produced and played on Scott Lindsey's debut album which garnished a top 30 single. Phil has been playing with Billy Falcon & The Sowing Circle which opened for Bon Jovi on his world tour 2011. As a full time studio player, Phil is a member of the Nashville Musicians Union and a member of the Recording Musicians Association. Phil is also a staff writer for SB21 Music Publishing run by his lifelong friend and bandmate Steve Pasch. Phil has cuts on the Billy Falcon record, "When" 3cuts on Brad Nelson's debut record and a cut on the Debut "Three Crosses Record.

Phil is also helping new acts Dixie Jade and Poema hone in on their sound live and in the studio. His current cut includes "Roll The Windows Down" (WYATT).
